Wedding Films

A wedding film gives you back the things photographs can’t: your vows in your own voices, the speech that made everyone cry, the way your grandmother danced. We make cinematic wedding films that put your story first.

Our films are shot on cinema cameras, quietly and unobtrusively, then shaped by a creative director who has spent a career in film and design. We lay your story on music, let the words carry it, and stitch it together with visuals that feel like the day felt. The result is a film you will watch on every anniversary, and one your family will want to see again and again.

How we film your day

  • Preparations. The quiet before it all begins: getting ready, the letters, the nerves and the people who help you through them.
  • The ceremony. Filmed from discreet positions agreed with your officiant, with small microphones so vows, readings and music are clear.
  • The in-between moments. Drinks, family, children running on the lawn, the hugs nobody planned.
  • A few minutes with the two of you. Relaxed and unposed, usually alongside your photography portraits.
  • Speeches and the party. Every word of the speeches recorded properly, then the first dance and a dance floor full of the people you love.

Sound matters as much as picture

The heart of a wedding film is what people say. We record your vows, readings and speeches with small, discreet microphones, so every word is clear. A few things help: ask whoever is giving a speech to use the microphone, let us know who is speaking and in what order, and tell your band or DJ that we will be in touch. In places of worship we always follow the officiant’s guidance on where we can stand and what we can record.

Planning for film

  • Coverage. Most couples choose between six and ten hours, from preparations to the first dance. Multi-day celebrations are priced event by event.
  • Light. Our cinema cameras love low light, so candlelit receptions and winter weddings look beautiful on screen.
  • Photography and film together. Booking both with us means one team and one plan, and it costs less than booking separately. See our wedding photography.
  • Travel. Included within 50 miles of our studio in Beckenham, and added at cost for destination weddings.

When you receive your films

Your films usually follow within two to three months, depending on the season, delivered as files to download and keep. If you choose a same-day edit, it is shown to your guests at the reception, the same night. Your simple film, if that is what you book, arrives within four weeks.

Booked late? We can still be there

If you already have a photographer but no filmmaker, our simple wedding film covers your ceremony, speeches and a short highlight film, from £950, and it is often available at short notice. Full wedding films start from £1,430; get your price for your date, or see all our collections.

Your questions, answered

How long is a wedding highlight film?

Three to five minutes, set to music and built around your own words. You also receive your ceremony and speeches in full, and you can add a 15 to 20 minute feature film.

Will filming be intrusive?

No. We work quietly and unobtrusively, with discreet microphones, never stand between you and your guests, and follow your officiant’s guidance during the ceremony.

Can you film drone aerials?

Drone aerials are an optional extra, where the venue and airspace allow. Some venues, especially in central London, are not suitable, so we check before the day.

How long until we see our film?

Usually within two to three months, depending on the season. A same-day edit is shown at your reception, and a simple film arrives within four weeks.
