North London runs from the town halls of Islington and Camden up through Hampstead and Highgate to the suburbs of Barnet and Enfield. It has some of the city’s best views, its biggest open heaths and a mix of communities that gives its weddings real variety. We photograph and film them all, with one team for both.
We travel up from our studio in Beckenham, so we plan the route with care and always arrive early. Every North London borough is well within our travel radius.

Town halls and grand rooms
Civil ceremonies are a big part of North London weddings. Islington Town Hall on Upper Street has a grand interior and a busy street outside for confetti, and Camden ceremonies are held at Camden Town Hall on Euston Road. Each borough sets its own rules on photography and filming during the ceremony, so we check with the register office before the day. See our pages on civil ceremonies and intimate weddings.
Popular venues include Alexandra Palace, with its views across the whole city, and Forty Hall in Enfield, a seventeenth-century manor house with its own estate and lake. Neighbourhoods and communities
North London is home to large Jewish communities in Golders Green, Hendon, Finchley, Edgware and Stamford Hill, Greek and Turkish Cypriot families around Palmers Green and Enfield, and Irish, Polish, Somali, Tamil, Gujarati and Punjabi families across the area. Heaths, hills and high views
- Hampstead Heath. Long grass, old trees and Parliament Hill, with the city skyline in the distance. Some areas need permission for professional photography, which we check in advance.
- Highgate and Hampstead villages. Narrow streets, Georgian terraces and small squares for a relaxed walk between ceremony and reception.
- Alexandra Park. Open slopes that face south across London, and one of the best places in the city for portraits at sunset.
North London traffic can be slow, especially on the North Circular on a Saturday. Allow more time than the map suggests between each part of the day, and the day stays relaxed. In winter, the light goes early, so we plan outdoor portraits for the early afternoon and use the city lights after dark.

Yes. Travel is included within 50 miles of our studio in Beckenham, which takes in every North London borough.
Can you cover a Jewish wedding from the bedeken to the hora?
Yes. We plan the day around the order of service you share with us, from the ketubah signing and bedeken to the chuppah, yichud and the dancing. We follow the guidance of your rabbi and venue on where we stand.
Can you cover a short town hall wedding?
Often, yes. Our simple films start from £950 for two hours of coverage, which suits a town hall ceremony and portraits nearby.
