Sheffield is a city of seven hills, old steelworks and green valleys, with the Peak District starting at the edge of town. We are a photography and film studio based in Beckenham, and we travel up to photograph and film weddings in Sheffield and South Yorkshire.
Sheffield people are proud of their city, and its weddings tend to be relaxed, unfussy and full of good humour. That suits us. We work quietly, let the day happen, and step in only when a little direction helps. Most of what we photograph and film is simply what was there: the hug at the door, the laugh during the speeches, the dance floor at eleven.
Steel and stone
The city’s industrial past gives it some of the most characterful venues in the north. Kelham Island has old works and brick yards turned into bars and event spaces, while Cutlers’ Hall, home of the city’s historic company of cutlers, offers grand rooms in the centre. Gardens and moorland
Sheffield is one of the greenest cities in England, and many couples make the most of it. Popular venues include Sheffield Botanical Gardens, with its glass pavilions, and Wortley Hall to the north of the city. Thornbridge Hall near Bakewell is within easy reach for couples who want a country house in the Peak District. A short drive out onto the moors at blue hour can give you portraits you will not find anywhere else.
Every culture
Sheffield has a large Pakistani and Kashmiri community, as well as Yemeni, Somali, Caribbean and Chinese families who have been here for generations. We photograph and film nikahs, mehndis and walimas, African weddings and fusion weddings, and we price multi-day Asian weddings event by event.

Can we have portraits in the Peak District?
Yes, if your timings allow. The moors are close to the west of the city. We plan a short trip around the light and the drive, so you are not away from your guests for long.
How much is travel to Sheffield?
We quote it at cost: fuel or train fares, plus a hotel if we need to stay. You will see it in your quote, which we send within one working day.
Do we need both photography and film?
Not at all, though many couples choose both. One team can cover the two together, which keeps the day simple and the coverage consistent.
