Leeds Wedding Photographer & Videographer

Leeds is a confident, grown-up city: Victorian arcades and grand civic buildings in the centre, and some of Yorkshire’s finest country estates a short drive away. We are a photography and film studio based in Beckenham, and we travel up to photograph and film weddings in Leeds and across West Yorkshire.

A Leeds wedding often moves between two worlds. Getting ready in a city apartment or a family home, a ceremony in town, then out into the countryside for a long dinner and a late party. We plan the day around those journeys so that every part of it is covered and nobody feels rushed.

In the city

The Queens Hotel by the station has the grand ballroom feel that suits a big family wedding. For portraits, the covered Victorian arcades and the streets around them make a warm, lamplit backdrop, even in the rain. The canal and the old warehouses along the River Aire are close by too, if you prefer something more industrial. Smaller civil ceremonies in the city need as little as two hours of coverage.

Yorkshire estates

Couples who want space and history are spoilt for choice around Leeds. Popular venues include Harewood House to the north of the city, Oulton Hall to the south, Hazlewood Castle near Tadcaster and Rudding Park near Harrogate. Long drives, parkland and stone buildings give portraits a classic, timeless look, and late summer evenings in Yorkshire stay light well into the reception.

A city of many faiths

Leeds has well-established Sikh and Muslim communities, with gurdwaras and mosques across the city, and nearby Bradford adds to one of the largest South Asian populations in the north. North Leeds is home to a long-standing Jewish community, and Chapeltown is the heart of the city’s Caribbean life and its famous carnival. We photograph and film Sikh weddings, nikahs, Jewish weddings, African and Caribbean weddings and fusion weddings.

How we cover Leeds

  • Travel quoted at cost. Travel within 50 miles of Beckenham is included. For Leeds we add the actual cost of the journey, with nothing on top.
  • Staying the night. We usually travel up the day before, and stay longer for multi-day Asian weddings, which we price event by event.
  • Familiar faces. The same team from the first call to the last dance, covering photography, film or both.

Our wedding photography starts from £830, films from £1,430, and both together from £2,180, for two hours from Friday to Sunday, and 15% less from Monday to Thursday. See our collections. We also travel to Manchester and Sheffield.

Your questions, answered

Why book a studio from the south for a Leeds wedding?

Because you like the work and the way we do it. Travel is quoted at cost, so the difference is usually smaller than couples expect, and the coverage is exactly the same as at home.

Can you cover a wedding in Leeds and a reception in Bradford?

Yes. We follow you between venues and build the travel time into the plan, so nothing important happens while we are on the road.

When should we get in touch?

As soon as you have a date and a venue. We reply within one working day with availability and a price that includes travel.
