Haven’t booked a filmmaker? Many couples only realise how much they want a film once the date is close. Our simple wedding film is made for exactly that, and we can often step in at short notice.
One experienced filmmaker, up to four hours of your day, and a film that captures what matters most: your vows, your first kiss as a married couple, the speeches and the people around you. It is honest, beautifully shot and simple to book, from £950.
What you receive
- A highlight film of two to three minutes, set to licensed music, to share with everyone.
- Your ceremony in full, with clean audio of your vows.
- The speeches, uncut, so nobody’s words are lost.
- Delivered within four weeks, as files to download and keep.
Who it’s for, and who it isn’t
The simple film suits couples who want the words of the day kept safe without the cost of a full production: a civil ceremony followed by lunch, an intimate wedding, a church service and speeches, or a couple who have spent their budget on a photographer and still want to hear their vows again. It also works well for a single event within a larger celebration, such as a nikah or a civil ceremony before an Asian wedding.
If you want preparations, every event across several days, a longer feature film or a second camera, our full wedding films are the better choice.
Four hours, well spent
Four hours goes further than most couples expect. A typical simple film might run like this:
- Arrivals. Guests gathering and the last few minutes before the ceremony.
- The ceremony. Recorded in full, with small, discreet microphones so your vows are clear.
- Confetti, drinks and a few minutes with the two of you for the highlight film.
- The speeches, wherever they fall in your day.
If there is a long gap between your ceremony and speeches, tell us when you enquire and we will help you plan the four hours so the important parts are all covered.

Already have a photographer? Perfect. We introduce ourselves before the day, agree where each of us will stand for the ceremony and speeches, and stay out of each other’s way. After more than a decade of weddings, working quietly beside other professionals is second nature.

How late can we book a simple wedding film?
Ask us whenever you decide, even if the wedding is only days away. If we are free, we will confirm straight away.
Can we add more time on the day?
Tell us before the day if you think you will need more than four hours, so we can plan for it. If you would like the whole day covered, a full wedding film is usually better value.
Will the filmmaker get in our photographer’s way?
No. We speak to your photographer before the day, agree positions for the ceremony and speeches, and work quietly side by side.
Can we have photography as well?
Yes. If you have not booked a photographer yet, our wedding photography starts from £830, and booking both together means one team and one plan.
